About Craig Talley

I am an accomplished Mason and Artist in the trowel trades. Presently working with all types of Stone and Brick as well as Cast stone and CMU in both residential and commercial construction. Having completed some of the most prestigious projects in the Chicago Area with a variety of contractors on sites such as  the Botanical Gardens, 595 Sheridian Rd, and at Great lakes Naval base my talent and work skills are well respected. Supervising the construction of the nearly completed Battles stations complex Stone work I am well known for my precise and professional abilities. I am a long time member of Local 20 Brick and Stone masons in Waukegan Illinois certified in Welding and all branches of the trade.

People often ask me how is it that I have come to expertise and proficiency in so many different areas. To that I answer that my tenacious desire to learn and excel at whatever I do has given me the ability to quickly learn and acquire both information and resource to do anything!

My education has come from formal training in the early 80's from the International Masonry Institute in Washington State and my Technical experience and training comes from over 30 years of work with computer technology and electronics including laser science and photonics, multimedia engineering, and internet technologies. Advanced education was achieved from the US Navy in the Advanced Electronics Field with fire control weapons systems and shipboard defense technology. My software experience is from Microsoft training programs and extensive beta testing of Windows products over the years. My management training has been acquired from the College of Lake County and from professional training in both the US Navy and as a Boy Scout leader. My experience is well learned from positions such as foreman, team leader, superintendent, and project manager.

I have spent many years in service to the churches and ministries in the region as well as developing resources on the internet for international missions. My most current endeavor is facilitating the web presence in the erection of a Radio Station in Eluru India and the implementation of the Visual Bible product to India. That web site is here: http://www.radioindiaministries.com

Current Professional Occupation:

Project Management and Masonry Construction
I am an experienced project manager and accomplished Mason. With over 20 years in the construction industry in all branches of the trowel trades and carpentry. I have a complete understanding of all divisions of construction with excellent references from past projects. My goal is to assess the problems encountered with  "Management by Exception" and lead others using CPM (critical path method). I can help any business ascertain their needs and goals with any construction operation and develop policy and resources to efficiently realize your corporate goals. CPM is a universally accepted management method to deliver projects on time and budget. I am a firm believer in helping people to develop their own strengths and realize hidden talent by reworking methods of production.
Do not hesitate to call me personally to discuss your requirements for any leadership or worthwhile projects.
My current employer is Masonry By Fernando
Best Regards, Craig Talley
